When I watched The Day Today as a kid, I wasn't entirely convinced that Alan Partridge was a fictional character. I could have sworn I had heard some commentator or other actually exclaim "He must have a foot like a traction engine!" Anyway, for no particular reason, here are two of his finest moments from that wonderful show.
