Spurs are, sadly, waaay more entertaining on their day. I can't think of it...England are like, are kind of like...AS Roma. No, Roma are too dignified for that comparison.
Admittedly, the entertainment I derive from England (and Spurs, for that matter) is as much about schadenfreude as style. That said, I wasn't nearly as put out by Wednesday as I ought to have been, but that may just be a Theo thang.
